Banished

(The following is not truly a Live Journal, nor is it an actual physical Journal of any sort for the Character William Harkness once Called Tyger Fyre, it is the thoughts and actions of this character. It is COMPLETELY fictional)

(This First part goes best with Johnny Cash's Hurt)

Pain Remembered

Ty remembered that face, those hips, those lips... yes he remembered every inch of her. As he wandered into that meeting in Florida, he was there on vacation.. his last brief trip had been so beneficial to him that he couldn't help but travel down for some more fun. But when his eyes laid upon her... that woman from six years ago... He could still remember her hot breath on his ear.. how could he not. He looked to the woman who he had come to visit and smiled and flirted with her. His goal as soon as he had seen the other woman was to make her hurt as much as he had for the last six years. If he could but get her to feel a slight bit of what he had, then it would all be fair. And then when she looked at him he knew she couldn't place him... And that hurt more then the never calling, more then the never keeping in touch... He simply smiled and fished out a coin a simple coin with the Atlantean rune for welcome and began to flip it. She remembered him then, but he didn't let her know how happy and how angry he was. He didn't let her know that his emotions were pumping with raw passion of the wild.. No it wasn't her right. Not after what he had gone through...

(For the Following I believe Unforgiven by Mettalica is an excellent choice to listen to)
Banished

Ty sat in the plane as it taxied into the Airport he closed his copy of Clouds and sighed slightly looking out the window. At least they had bought him a plane ticket rather then making him ride a greyhound bus, after all he was still of their high quality blue blood, even if he had fallen for someone they viewed as a tramp. So what if she was a tramp... she knew him, she really understood, and that's all that mattered to him. He was looking forward to hearing from her. Hearing her voice would help even if his family had banished him to a barren desert state like Oklahoma, at least  that would give him some strength. He got up from his seat and made his way off the plane grabbed his baggage and got a taxi, he knew it was going to be a long trip down to Chickasha Oklahoma. Some little no name college town.. Where he was expected to finish his last year of Undergrad. "You may not leave Oklahoma till you finish your education" was his mothers words.. Well a year wasn't so long. He could make it through that long, and after all if he listened to his parents he remained on the pay roll, that's what was important after all. The hard cold cash, with that you could get anything and they made sure to provide quite well for him. He waited that night.. .and the next.. and the next.. and no phone call. Then angry he went out and got drunk, he remembered that he had sex that night.. but he wasn't sure with whom.. it didn't matter, none of them did. Year after year... all the same. Some would stay friends others would simply disappear. And each one he slept with the pain lessoned, until he was numb. This was just the start to his newly chosen way of life, and he loved every second of it, his favorite thing to do was to make women lose the love of their husband because of their wanting him.. wanting to feel his hands on him again. Oh that was a good feeling, to make each and every woman suffer. And then there was one...

(For the following I suggest  Animals by Nickleback)
Awakening

Those burning eyes flashed into his soul and he could feel deep cuts drawing down his back while he heard the beat of the drums smelled Lilac and Honeysuckle all around him a thrill of extacy running down his back, his eyes flashed forward and he carved into a massive stone. Slowly it faded and he went out the next morning she was still sitting beside her desk, that dark woman who had come to teach the class about a certain subspecies of tigers... He didn't care much at the time. Another animal was going extinct, it was a sad situation to be true, he'd rather see humans in pain then animals but what could he do... Yet he wanted to seduce this visiting professor, her skin was like washed black stone, her eyes sparkled like so many stars. He wanted her, he didn't want to hurt this one only to lay down with her. And he had... yet what happened to him.. Why was his name carved into the desk... Then she told him... Then he knew. He didn't love her, but she showed him what he needed to, and she knew his parents.. somehow. And so at least they knew now. And now.. sex meant so much more to him. He also felt a deeper kinship with nature then he had before, true he was a Biology major but now, it made his blood flow. He was told that he was Thyrsus, that that's why he had had such a primal Awakening. He finally had a focus his advisor would be pleased, he was going to dedicate his life to the revival of the subspecies of tiger known as Pantheras Tigris Sumatrae or the Sumatran tiger. He knew that every thing that had happened to him thus far was for a reason, he didn't believe in Gd he never had but he was dedicated to the protection of these tigers, and as time would come the protection of mankind as well. His sexual behavior continued but now for different reasons, to make him remember why it was what he did. Without it.. who knew what would happen.

(Highly Recommend Lights Went Out in George)

The Shot Rang Out

Even when he was hundreds of miles away Ty could feel the shot ring out when he received the phone call, he didn't mean to let either woman come close to him. But they had... and with the news of the potential life that he could have helped bring into the world being lost to him.. those feelings. for both. were severed. It's true he hadn't really wanted to be a father yet, the thought frightened him, yet they were his. He knew that they would have been twins... His feelings for them were severed all he wanted was revenge. How could he have let himself become so weak as to allow a woman, much less two close to him. No more... no more. He was done. He then received a call, he let it go to answering machine.. He was speaking with his future mentor after all not that he knew it at the time. He checked the message later. It was from the one who had killed his future children... Asking for him to come to consilium saying they needed an Arrow. Well lucky for Ty he wasn't an Arrow any longer, and he sure as hell didn't trust the Heirarch. Instead he went to the meeting with his to be mentor as planned, and then he was told how much he had screwed up. Why did he invite someone on the mission, he didn't know it was one. And the questions ranged on.. Then finally, how did he see mage and sleeper society. He explained it without the metaphor. He loved the metaphor of Plato's Cave, and how it applied to mage and sleeper society. But he wasn't about to go into that explanation. Not in such a formal setting. He was offered to be Andersons student, he agreed and he took the new name William Harkness. He was instructed that if he was ever in danger he should notify Anderson. He said that he was now and the situation was explained, after being called an idiot in every way imaginable, he was told to give him a full list of all the women he had slept with... That would be interesting.

(Recommend Dust In the Wind for this)
Epilogue

William sat there in the chair sipping his Ouzo, he was under the care and privilege of yet another person, evidently another student of Anderson. She was going to be taking part in his teaching... She had stopped him from going with several other mages to paint the town red. He was denied even that what reminded him of why he did what he did... slowly he was losing it. Slowly... slowly... he became less attached to his emotions. It was a beautiful night sky he thought as he sipped. Few mattered to him, his mentors, his adoptive mother who was only a few years older then he. And his sisters... All others... Oh if they could but see how his heart had turned.
